A Panel Data Model with Generalized Higher-Order Network Effects

چکیده
Many data situations require the consideration of network effects among cross-sectional units observation. In this paper, we present a generalized panel model which accounts for two features: (i) three types on right-hand side model, namely through weighted dependent variable, exogenous variables, as well error components, and (ii) higher-order due to ex-ante unknown network-decay functions or presence multiplex (or multi-layer) networks all those. We outline basic assumptions, simulation results.

a study on insurer solvency by panel data model: the case of iranian insurance market
the aim of this thesis is an approach for assessing insurer’s solvency for iranian insurance companies. we use of economic data with both time series and cross-sectional variation, thus by using the panel data model will survey the insurer solvency.
A Generalized Higher-Order Chemical Computation Model
Gamma is a programming model where computation is seen as chemical reactions between data represented as molecules floating in a chemical solution. Formally, this model is represented by the rewriting of a multiset where rewrite rules model the chemical reactions. Recently, we have proposed the γ-calculus, a higher-order extension, where the rewrite rules are first-class citizen. The work prese...
متن کاملThermoelastic Response of a Rotating Hollow Cylinder Based on Generalized Model with Higher Order Derivatives and Phase-Lags
Generalized thermoelastic models have been developed with the aim of eliminating the contradiction in the infinite velocity of heat propagation inherent in the classical dynamical coupled thermoelasticity theory. In these generalized models, the basic equations include thermal relaxation times and they are of hyperbolic type. Furthermore, Tzou established the dual-phase-lag heat conduction theo...
متن کاملDynamic Factor Analysis for Panel Data: A Generalized Model∗
We develop a generalized dynamic factor model for panel data with the goal of estimating an unobserved performance index. While similar models have been developed in the literature of dynamic factor analysis, our contribution is threefold. First, contrary to simple dynamic factor analysis where multiple attributes of the same cross sectional unit are measured at each time period, our model also...
متن کاملCombining time DEA scores using a dynamic panel data model
We define a combined DEA score to evaluate efficiency in agricultural research. The production model we propose considers efficiency measurements under variable returns to scale for each year in the period 2012–2017. We postulate a first-order autoregressive process in the presence of covariates, to explain efficiency. Powers of the autocorrelation coefficient estimated assuming a dynamic panel...
